Texas Arizona is hosting a charity event where you can buy a bachelor!

Looking to spice up your love life? Get into a bidding war!!

On Wednesday April 17th, Texas Arizona will host their annual live bachelor & bachelorette auction to benefit the Relay For Life and American Cancer Society foundations.

Guests attending the auction can bid on the bachelor or bachelorette they like most and not feel weird about it. After all it's for a good cause! ;)

Those looking to scope out the inventory before buying will actually be able to meet the bachelors/bachelorettes before the bidding begins.

Texas Arizona is located at 76 River Street, on the corner of River Street directly across the street from the PATH train.

Biggie's Clam Bar - Open's New Location in Hoboken

One thing's for sure, Hoboken residents love food and we love Biggies Clam Bar's new location!

After the unsuccessful re-opening of The Historic Clam Broth House, Biggie's has taken over and is received with a warm welcome.

Today's lunch hour had a 15 minute wait time! I'm told customer service is excellent and the portions are a-plenty as the Biggie's you've grown to love.

What's better? This Biggie's location also has a bar and I'm hoping that they will add to their famous fresh clams (and now Oysters) perhaps a little raw bar for the summer..?

Personally I love mine with some horse radish and ice
cold beer.. ahhhh summer's almost here!

Comedy Night In Hoboken This Friday! Something Different

Date Night: Ever want something different to do in town besides head to your favorite bar - again??

Comedy night is back at the Hoboken Monroe Arts center this Friday May 14th, starting at 9p.m., featuring headliner Sean Patton, plus Erik Myers, Sarah Guartafierro, Paul Simpson, and Maddog Mattern.

My girlfriends went a couple of weeks ago and had a good time. It's BYOB and cover is $15.

Ladies beware! Hoboken bar crawl this Saturday!

A bar crawl is no place for a lady is what we always say! But we know there's no stopping you - so here's the information! 

This Saturday Hoboken is hosting it's second annual a bar-a-thon. I didn't know there was such a thing!! I've seen Hoboken bar crawls before but none this official. I have to tip my fedora off to them however because the bubbles are for a good cause.  Last year they donated money they collected through registration fees to cancer research - as per their website www.hobokenbarathon.com A client of mine informed me that last year's was "relatively civil" so maybe there shouldn't be any need for fear, after all, the website encourages it's participants to not get completely wasted and make sound decisions. 

There is a registration fee of $25.00 if you pre register online, and $30.00 the day of, that gets you a T-shirt, a sweatband, and $5.00 of that will be donated to charity, although the website doesn't mention which charity.
