Extra seating for guests when you need it
Store seasonal shoes and boots underneath
Add a mirror above it in an entrance to make your place look bigger ; )
Add shelves above it for storage
Add cute mismatched hooks and knobs above for a bohemian look and hang coats and hats
Stack gifts on here when there's no room to keep them anywhere else
