Dirty Jersey: Feds Bust Dozens In Corruption Scandal

Mayor Peter Cammarano, 32 years old, was arrested this morning by the FBI in a sweep raid that arrested a total of 30 politicians and counting - that according to News Channel 4. 

Appraently he was brought in on corruption charges and a press conference is scheduled to address the media today at noon. 

It seems the feds have been taping conversations taking place between newly elected Mayor Cammarano and others whose interests are with building developments in the city and the Mayor receiving advance payments to make sure these projects get approved and pushed. 

No surprise there, this unfortunately seems all too common in NJ and I wonder if other states in our world do the same. 

Secaucus Mayor Dennis Elwell, was also arrested, along with Jersey City deputy mayor Leona Beldini, Assemblymen Daniel Van Pelt, Jersey City Council President Mariano Vega, former Jersey City council candidate Guy Catrillo and assemblymen Lou Manzo along with many others. 

Reports say that other charges are related to a human organ scheme as well. Other arrests are said to be taking place as we speak in connection with these and other charges.
